French Doors

French patio doors swing open for an unimpeded view of the outdoors. This double-door style can make your room feel brighter and bigger. It lets in ample natural light.

You can choose how wide to open them—just a little bit or fully—to let in refreshing breezes during the summer. Wide panes of glass hold on to the sun’s heat during the winter, helping keep your room comfortable.

French-style doors open inward or outward, depending on the model. They need more clearance to fully open—particularly for doors that open inward.

They can open more completely than a single-panel sliding door. A sliding door can only open to one side. It’s also constricted by its frame.
